NeXSeal2409
NeXSeal2409 represents a high-performance driving grade tail sealant crafted for shielded tunnel boring machines (TBM). When combined with wire brushes, this sealant establishes an impermeable barrier between the TBM’s tail shield and the concrete segments, effectively preventing water, soil, and backfill grout from infiltrating back into the TBM invert. Optimal performance of NeXSeal2409 is achieved in conditions where the ambient temperature exceeds 15°C.
